MuseumDraw: Los Angeles

Wow: LA is Cool! #MWXX was Awesome!!

Here is a photo journal of my experience at #MWXX in Los Angeles (April, 2016). I participated by presenting Lightening Talk: MuseumDraw for People in Museums Today. I also visited The Broad, connected with friends, learned from others, drew what I saw, and had an enriching experience. Please read more by clicking on the photos.

Before Leaving...

Excited to visit Los Angeles for the 20th Annual Museums and the Web Conference. I will be presenting my first Lightening Talk, "MuseumDraw for People in Museums Today," live at #MWXX. It will be the first time I share MuseumDraw with my professional community in person.

I am also excited to visit and draw some art at museums. I have my own California Dreams and they are focused on The Broad...

I'll also get to see one of my favorite sculptures in the world, Jeff Koon's Rabbit, (1986). I just loved it when I first saw it (16 yr old) at @walkerartcenter. It captures a part of me and I can't wait to see it again at @TheBroad --I'm going to draw a ton of works there!!
